We enjoyed our weekend break staying at this hotel. Our room was quite comfortable, impeccably clean, with no frills basic utilities. I found the dining room a little tight for space, particularly since the hotel was full to capacity. In any case, we did find a table to enjoy our breakfast, and we found the staff very friendly, and helpful.
The hotel is not too far away from the centre of town, though when you have to trample through the snow, it is better to get a taxi.

Room Tip: Try to book a room facing the town.

Dear Globetrotter 5981

Thank you very much for your feedback. We really appreciate your comment and excuse
for the busy breakfast and dinner room. The weekend was really booked out and we had many guests from outside, too.

Have you ever tried St. Moritz in Summer or Autumn? It's worth visiting and enjoying the great variety of in- and outdoor activities.

Best regards,
Dominik

I loved this hotel. We went to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The food was great and I have to admit we pretty much had dinner every night at the Italian resturant downstairs. The hotel room we had was very clean, modern and had a mountain view.
The hotel staff helped us with directions and information and were wonderful from the time we checked in till we checked out.

The ski room was handy and easy to access, it was a small walk to cable car recommend the bus as it leaves you were you need to be for the walk to the cable car which is a short distance thru a tunnel and up a few flights of stairs.

We lucked out on the weather as it snowed before we came and we able to get a few days in the sun so we could fully appreciate the beauty of this wonderful area.

Room Tip: Our room was great with a balcony in the newer section of the hotel.

We stayed here for 10 days over the New Year period and had a wonderful time. The room was large, quiet, comfortable and always kept very clean by the daily house keeping. We went half board which allowed us to enjoy the buffet breakfast each morning (an egg station is available for fresh omelets etc) and choice from the menu at all the restaurants except the Japanese. After a long day skiing we were always excited about the evening meal. The high quality of the food at the Laudinella is one of the high points.

The staff were very helpful and polite and any questions we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

The hotel is located in St Moritz Bad (about 10 minutes walk from the main town and 5 minutes walk to the St Moritz Bad Signal cable car) and we were very happy to be there. We did not have the noise of the town to deal with each evening and yet we were close enough to enjoy a walk into town if we wanted to. The hotel is 50m from a bus stop and we never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus to take us to where we wanted to go to.

We really had a wonderful time and would recommend the Laudinella to anyone visiting St Moritz.

We stayed at the Laudinella for Christmas time for one week with the whole family.
Our rooms had a large window front to these breathtaking mountains and a beautiful view to the winterly illuminated St. Moritz-Dorf. The smart interior fittings offered spacious room for our numerous property, we had to take with us for Xmas dinners and different kind of sports. The bathroom had a window and the separate mirror for make-up/shaving is perfectly placed and day lighted.
A ski station is in walking distance as well as a cross country centre with a huge ski run. The beautiful lake invites to winter walks and jogging. A very romantic moment was our trip directly from the hotel through the forest of the nature protection area by a horse-drawn buggy to an old traditional and cozy cottage for an exquisite Xmas dinner.
We also recommend warmly to try all these excellent restaurants within the Laudinella. They are offering an interesting food concept. Not only the Pizzaria but even the Thai and the Japanese food is outstanding and first of all authentic by characteristic representatives. Amazing!
Breakfast is comprehensive but the quality is average level. The buffet with warm stuff is a bit too greasy while presented open for hours. The fresh Musli and the coffee taste well.
The staff from the reception desk is helpful for your needs, housekeeping is always friendly and open for manageable individual desires.
The hotel offers chargeable underground parking which makes life easier on heavy snowfall... if you don't like big shovel work.
The equipment rooms for sport equipment (lockable, if desired) are directly connected to the parking garage. That simplifies the pack of all your stuff back into the car.
It seems to us that a special feature of the Laudinella is their cultural program agenda. During our Xmas days we had the pleasure to join a classic concert from residence artists within the hotel for free... A proper alternation during our stay.
We all had wonderful, delicious and diversified Christmas holidays for the first time in a hotel. It was an experience and we've learned how to replace Xmas stress into quality time supported by a friendly environment.
We thank the whole Laudinella staff for their services and development in the background and remain to the wish: Next year, same time, same hotel.

Room Tip: We had the 800 numbers on 3rd floor.

Dear Cornélia

Thank you so much for this very good feedback.

We are happy to offer you a accurate and relaxing alternative to "homemade" christmas holidays and look very much forward to welcoming you next year again.

Roustem Saitkoulov and his family will play next year again for the christmas concert
and, of course, all our guests are warmly welcome to join.

We wish you a happy New Year!

We stayed at Laudinella St Moritz for 2 nights on 9th and 10th October. I was given a family room since there were 3 of us. There is a room with a queen bed and a smaller room with a single bed. No kettle in room. Luckily I had brought my own travel kettle but there were no tea cups or spoons and had to borrow it from their coffee shop(forgot the name).
We had buffet dinner at their coffee shop. Cant complain thought their spread is not as good as ours back home.
It was very cold on our 2nd night as it was snowing heavily so we wanted to have something hot and spicy. We were very happy to see a thai restaurant in the hotel and decided to have our dinner there. The restaurant was full and since we did not made any reservation, we could not get a table. We tried to get the attention of 1 of the service person to check when is the earliest we can get a table but she just ignore us.
We end up in another restaurant in the hotel and once again was asked whether reservation was made althought I could see there were plenty of empty tables. Neverthrless was still given a table and was told to make a reservation for the next night if we want to dine there again. Told him we were checking out the next day. Ended up having soup, pasta & pizza but it turn out we did enjoy our dinner.

Dear "Myoverseastrip"

Thank you for your feedback. We took your and many other guests' request for a kettle
and will provide in all our rooms tea and coffee making facilities within the next months.

Our restaurants sometimes are very busy. Even if there is still plenty of tables free, our staff will ask you for a reservation in order to more easily handle both, the hotel guests and the many locals from outside.

Should you ever come again to St. Moritz, we would really appreciate to show you the improvements made.

Best regards and a happy new year!

Stayed here on a tour of Switzerland and I can't say anything good about this hotel. It's in a dead part of St. Moritz-Bad (aptly named). The rooms are basic and calling it lakefront is quite a stretch.

Room Tip: If you want to see St. Moritz, don't stay here.

Dear Laikador

We are really sorry you hadn't had a great stay. Should you ever be unhappy with a hotel room,
please ask immediately at the reception for another room. Should there be any possibility, our staff will do their best to help.

The name St. Moritz-BAD (German for "bath") is related to the healthy mineralic source in this area which was the reason and beginning of tourism in the Upper Engadine.

The rooms in this hotel vary and we had the misfortune to get one we considered unsafe. The room was quite large, by European standards, with basic rather dated furniture and an old tube type TV. The uneven floor was carpeted and there was a noticeable difference walking from the desk area to the beds. The most disturbing fact was that the room had a step down bathroom. We were happy we only stayed in this hotel for one night and even happier we didn't fall and twist something in the night. The hotel does offer free WiFi and there are several restaurant in the hotel.

Dear Vacation Days 365

You are absolutely right, our rooms vary as the hotel has three different wings and it is our goal to reduce these differences with our renovation project starting soon.

Should you ever be unhappy with a hotel room, please ask the reception staff. They will
do their best to help and/or find another room.

We hope you may find the way back to St. Moritz once and give us the chance to show what we improved since your last stay.

Best regards,
Dominik Zurbruegg
