We are foodies on our honeymoon in Italy. The last leg of our journey we will meet up with restauranteurs from US to wine and dine Tuscany. Just so you know, we're seriously into food.
We were staying on lake Maggiore and decided to explore Bellinzona, Switzerland for the day. Not thinking we would stumble into a most amazing dinner experience that tops all others! We were turned away from a somewhat stuffy seeming place, but they recommended Ost. Mistral just up the st. Which had registered high on-line as well. A very sweet woman graciously accepted a reservation. We ate outside in a little veranda and had choice of menus, 6 courses seemed excessive, but thankfully we chose 4 course which included a most incredible veg soup that I could live on, so delicious 4 courses of that, could have sufficed! The sweet woman who had greeted us is the owner with her magician Husband, the chef. It couldn't have been a more delicious and savor end evening. Plus, Ballinzona is a quaint little city to visit, make the drive!
