“Good place for a stop after an exhausting day in Verzasca valley”
Reviewed 26 August 2012

We stopped at 'Osteria Grotto Al Bivio Di Corippo' after a beautiful day hinking between Corippo and Mergoscia. The restaurant is directly at the junction from Piee (part of teh main road in Verzasca valley) to Alta Corippo Foo. It is at the bottom of the valley so it becomes cool and shady earliy. The meals are simple and rich, my suggestion is the polenta plate con ossobucchi. Beer from tap was cold and fresh, the white Ticino wine of good quality. It's a nice place to have an 'aperitivo' with some snacks as well. Nothing special at all, anyhow a plae to have a decent meal and nice view up to Corippo church!
