Great place, with a nice decor and a fantastic and imaginative sushi menu. There is also an alternative choice of more traditional food that is also very good.
Only pity it is not on the lake and the outdoor seating is on a rather busy road.

Parq is the only sushi restaurant in town acceptable, quality wise.... But unfortunately be prepared for a very poor and slow service. They do sometimes take away, it depends on how many guests they have, but no delivery. If you decide for take away you can have some discount on the bill.
If i can suggest don't go with kids, they will drive you crazy

A nice well appointed modern restaurant on the main lakeside road in Lugano ..... but you can't see the lake. Combines sushi dishes to order singly to a main menu with excellent food served and presented in style.
Atmosphere at lunchtime was busy but not chaotic and the tables are well spaced to allow provate conversations without the neighbours hearing.
Service is efficient and dishes made to order with the right amount of time between courses even during their busiest periods.

Yes, it is a very "trendy" restaurant... this being said it's only trendy because it's in Lugano. The location is nice and the decor is great.. the food and the service are borderline indecent.
Having eaten here quite a few times I keep realizing that the service is not only slow.. they would go backwards if they could. It usually takes you 2.5 hours to eat and pay (without the desert). This not only happens when the restaurant is "full"(which means 10 of the 30 tables are occupied) but also on nights were only 4/5 tables have to be served. Since this is the only real sushi restaurant in Lugano it has been praised by many, but from my understanding the sushi's are pre made and then served (which would explain even less why they are SOO slow). I chose 4 different types if sushi and since I am quite picky I asked the waiter if ingredients could be removed/added (things such as cucumbers or having a sushi with only crab meat instead of crab and shrimp) the answer to my every question was "hmmm no".. This seems slightly strange as most sushi restaurants work like pizzerias... you want more ingredients..you add them and roll the sushi together.
Don't think ill be going again...

This is a new restaurant and I was there for the first time. It is not a typical Lugano (or Italian style) restaurant. It is a modern place with more of a fusion menu. There is an extensive sushi menu which we were reluctant to use because we thought sushi must be eaten at a place which specializes in sushi. Having eaten there now, I think I will try the sushi next time.
The main menu offered a few fish options and some pastas. The two fish we got, seared tuna and grilled dorado were excellent.

The location is very convenient, across from the main Parco Ciani and the inside is very modern and sparsely decorated with bottles of wine. I liked the simple decor.
