As our experience was so good last year, we decided to come back to the Mont Cervin this year again for our early year ski week. And again, we had a great week of skiing, great weather (very well organized by the hotel management indeed), and culinary excursions. We loved our room with great views, friendly staff and starting our active days with a healthy breakfast. We got our favourite skis and good advice at the inhouse rental ski shop (very convenient and important for serious skiers), Also appreciated the reception staff efficiently taking care of all our dinner reservations - and even took the blame when we didn't show up in one place :-) These and many more pieces combine to the positive overall picture we got again. We will come back!

Zermatt is a car free village and you can only get there by train. On the ride up there you feel already that you will be in a different world for a while...turn off the cell phone (they work perfectly there of course, but I am just saying). From the personal driver picking me up at the train station, addressing me immediately by name to the friendly check in and tour of the room the welcome at the Mont Cervin could not have been better. We stayed at the le Petit Cervin which seemed to be a newer addition to the hotel. The room was impeccably clean, had all the amenities you expect from a 5Star hotel. Breakfast was in a lovely room with a view over the village, service was prompt and attentive, the buffet had plenty of choices to get you ready for a day of skiing. The skirental place(Julen Sport) is adjoined to the Hotel and you get a locker to leave your skis and boots as well as a discount for all rental equipment. Nice touch! We used the heated indoor pool and the jacuzzi as well as the outdoor mineral pools with the relaxing jets. All nice and very well kept, direct access from the rooms, so you can go down there in your robes and slippers. Make sure to ask the concierge for a list of all Seiler Hotel Restaurants (the Mont Cervin is part of a local chain), especially their Fondue Restaurant was delicious. We even got to meet the Hotel Manager Karin at the hotel's bar and got some great tips on skiing and apres ski hangouts. Thank you Mont Cervin. We can highly recommend you and hope to stay again on a future visit to Zermatt!

Location couldn't be better. We stayed in the Petit Cervin which is underground connected to the MCP. A true little jewel box I would call the Petit Cervin. The rooms are totally tastefull decorated. The beds are heaven.
It is all this little details which make a difference to an average hotel. The staff has been increadible attentive and polite. It is that extra mile they do.
Don't forget to make use of the SPA. A perfect place to relax your muscles after a day of skiing.
They rates are quite steep for an overnight but in return you get value for money. An above avarage service and quality. I definitely will be back.

Location is great. Service is exemplary. Breakfast buffet is on the 4th floor and it is nice and cozy. Great to have a ski rental shop right on the premises. This hotel is connected to Grand Hotel Cervin, so you can access the pool and spa. Nice pool which was part outdoor. Spa is not bad. Concierge gave us just the right recommendations for ski passes, areas, lunch on the slopes and dinners. A truly fun experience I had with my 3 siblings. The prices are a little steep, but compared to other destinations around Switzerland, it was the cheapest top 5 star hotel you can get. Will definitely come back, but with wishes to be able to catch cheaper nights.

After a terrible experience in an other hotel we moved to LPC. They offered us 2 rooms and a suite on the southside with view on the matterhorn for the price of northside. Roomprice included breakfast, minibar, internet and the use of the amenities of the Mont Cervin Palace. The rooms are fantastic, see other review in this list for description.

The hotel has a big mix of nationalities, like french, english, russian, spanish, american, dutch etc.
Really a lovely staff, they can arrange everything for you on a 24/7 basis. Ski is really fantastic in Zermatt, Every day you can have another challenge on the slopes. Transporation to the lifts is easy with the free elektrobus of with the elektrotaxi (3CHF per person, max 6-7 passengers).
Life is very expensive in Zermatt, not to speak of " a rip-off" On the slopes it's quite usual to pay 30-40 CHF for a very simple lunch.

We stayed at the Mont Cervin Palace in Zermatt for a short skiing trip. The hotel was everything we hoped it would be and more. It is in a great central location, the staff are courteous and nothing is too much trouble, the food is great and we loved the 'dine around' option. If you stay half board, you are able to eat at 13 other restaurants, most of which are in walking distance. We ate at the Japenese restaurant (Myoko) one night and can't rave about it enough. I would definitely recommend it. The food is the hotel is equally good and we particularly enjoyed 'The Grill' restaurant, which is slightly less formal than the main restaurant. The spa facilities are second to none and are just what you need when you come off the slopes. The Zermatt ski slopes are vast and well maintained. Would definitely recommend skiing over to Cervinia one day as the slopes there are slightly quieter and seemed to always be in the sun. All in all a great trip.
