We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for our family holiday. We are a family with two kids, aged 8 and 11. We took the Simona Loft which has a large double-bed upstairs. They added one single bed downstairs for one of the kids while they used the sofa to accomodate the other. Everybody was sleeping comfortably. The loft had a very large terrace with seatings overlooking a nice view. The kids loved the indoor pool and the outside warmed jaccuzi. Their breakfast was generous with lots of fresh ingredients (something you don't find abundantly in European hotels). Althought the hotel is not on the cheap side but it deserves every single CHF we very happily spent there.
The owners are always there roaming around the patrons, giving them recommendations on where to go, dine, shop, etc.. All the staff were extremely polite and proactive.
Highly recommend this hotel.

This is by far my favorite destination in the world. I was struck immediately by the fragrance of cinnamon and cherrywood when I entered the glass elevator. As the elevator ascended each floor was a pleasure to gaze at. the first floor contained a salt spa and from the glass floor hung a elegant chandalier. Directly above the light fixture was a fireplace blazing. Upon exiting the elevator in the lobby I was greeted with a champagne flute containing Moet. There in the midst of the tantilizing aroma, swirling the bubbly in my mouth I realized, I was in heaven.

This is a truly excellent hotel. On arrival we were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and shown to our rooms. We had a suite that overlooked the Matterhorn - well worth paying the extra for this. In addition to the wonderful room there is a small but beautifully formed heated underground swimming pool and (textile free) "wellness area" with nice sauna, etc.

There is also a lovely jacuzzi.

The breakfast is excellent. The service is top class, as is the location of the hotel. Can't wait to go back.

Worth every penny. Everything is perfect, breakfast, room, manager, view on the Matterhorn, etc. What else can we say? Experience it!

Room Tip: Go for the suite, worth the price!

If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would. It is elegant, and beautifully designed. The owners are very hands-on and always available to answer questions or help out. They truly care about their guests. we had a large double room with sitting area for the summer rate of $240 which included a high quality, delicious breakfast. The spa facilities and pool are beautiful. The location
is great because it is not in the center of town, and therefore very
quiet, but no more than a three
minute walk to the center of town. I
would absolutely recommend this
hotel without hesitation.

I've been in europe for past 10 days, no hotel has been as good as this one. We've stayed in 5 stars n 4 stars, but this hotel just stands out. We stayed in a loft called romaine. Don't think even once to book this hotel. It is simply awesome. I've don't have words to express my excitement, you've to be here to understand wht m feeling. :):):)

My wife and I and another couple stayed at the Coeur des Alpes for two nights in July, 2011. Our stay was flawless. The hotel, as has been commented on multiple times, was beautiful and the service was fantastic. The owner and her staff catered to our every need and made our stay extremely special. Each couple had a double and, while small, they did the trick and were always clean and well apportioned. You don't need much more because if you're spending time indoors in Zermatt, your missing out. The breakfasts were a delicious start to every day and certainly give you the sustenance needed to hit the mountains, whether its to ski or to hike.
