My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Welcome B&B in Zermatt Sept 2012 - it was wonderful. A 5 min (easy) walk from the train station (exit the train station, go right down the main road, take a left at the church and it's about 2 mins up on the right hand side), in the heart of town, close to everything but still very quiet. The owners were fabulous and the rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable. Shower and tub were new and spotless, towel warmer was a nice touch. Breakfast was great, they made fresh coffee and tea for you as you arrived. Had the usual meats, cheeses, pastries as well as cereals, juice etc. It was perfect.
Would absolutely recommend this to anyone travelling to the Zermatt area, I would totally go back in an instant!! Oh- and a great hot tub on the bottom floor, was great after a long day of hiking!!
Rooms were new, elevator access and just had a very warm and cozy vibe. Loved it.More
