Not only was the sushi particularly fresh, high-quality, and delicious, the presentation was beautiful! Even the wasabi had been molded into leaves with veins. I regret not taking photos to add to this review.
Moreover, the couple who own and run this restaurant kindly chatted with us, When they realized that we were en route to the emergency dept. of the children's hospital uphill from the restaurant, and that my daughter was hobbling on an injured ankle, the wife gave us a lift. Random act of kindness.
We liked our lunch so much that we got dinner sushi to go. The staff packed it with ice bags on both sides and gave us a bottle of Japanese soda to try as a bonus.
Their dinner buffet looked delicious, too. Will definitely return.
