We were in town for the Montreux Jazz Festival and the hotel was fine. It was mostly clean and the staff were lovely. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious enough, although the beds were very creaky. It's very traditional and has some nice views. The main road leads straight down to the lake and if you're used to walking, it's not too far to central Montreux or the Jazz Festival (very pretty walk with views of the mountains, too). The 204 bus and ABCD parking bus (free) both stop right outside of the hotel.
The breakfast wasn't too bad for what it was, better than a lot of hotels I've stayed at in Europe. My only real complaint is about the noise from the main road outside, you definitely couldn't sleep with the window open and can still hear it even with it closed.More
