As far as casinos go it is a little small. Located right off the lake though it has a spectacular location.
The most interesting part of the casino though is on the second floor--The Queen Museum and their former recording studio

I was visiting the great old town Montreux in September, because I was being part of the great party dedicated to birthday of my beloved Freddie Mercury. The party was on 4-5 September exactly to celebrate his birthday together all his fans around the world. Inside of this beautiful buildind with an old and interesting history we had the party. I am not gambler but I liked to watch people inside playing. Also here is the Queen Studio Experience where I went for 3 times in 2 days, and gathered great memories and photos of my great love Freddie. If you are around in town take a look inside, For sure you will like it!!!

No dress code. One security guard in a jogging suit serving as doorman.a five star location in breathtaking beauty but inside. ..well....think two stars red velvet off the Vegas strip. Bus tour pensioners coupons in hand queuing for discount buffet and a mah jong room low end ambiance about the whole place. Too bad. I decided to dine elsewhere and although I enjoy gambling a few bucks once in awhile the whole building seemed like a disorganized Asian sports bar and bookie parlor.OK this was early Sunday evening so maybe I picked a bad time.

Living in Las Vegas makes me spoiled but the casino floor needs to manage the bad odor that greets you at the door. Otherwise the establishment was a nice little Casino on the Lake.

Freddie Mercury adopted Montreux as his home-away-from-home, and even bought the excellent record studio made famous by the Deep Purple song: Smoke on the Water. In the years since Freddie's passing, the casino has created a museum of sorts where you can see loads of Queen paraphenalia, videos, hand-written lyrics, and the actual 24-track Struder analog recording machine made famous in the 70's and 80's
