This hotel is ideal for guests arriving on a train or on a steamer on lake Geneva, you literally walk only 20 meters from the station, and this is the way guests arrived back in the 19th century!
The staff are friendly, multilingual, and efficient. We got a nice room on the top floor, nicely decorated, well isolated, babycot already waiting for us, and additional shower items for our boy which was very thoughtful. Breakfast overlooking the lake is worth its price (high quality items, good coffee even if sometimes you need to queue a bit) and the 3 breakfast staff (Sunday morning September 2) are among the nicest we met, very helpful and kind! By staying in a local hotel you get a card and all public transport are for free and one museum entrance (such as Chillon castle) is half price.
If I were to name one possibility for improvement: the sauna and hammam hours are very limited (2 to 7pm), this could be easily extended to say around 10pm.More
