Nested in the beautiful Hotel Victoria (member of the Relais et Chateux family) overlooking the Lac Leman, the Restaurant Victoria is a charming destination for a pleasant lunch or dinner. The dining room is in line with the Belle Epoque style of the hotel and it is made more interesting by paintings from Hodler adorning the walls. The service is almost impeccable, yet warm and friendly. The cooking is very traditional but dishes are well prepared and presented. The young lamb "aux herbes" we tested was very good. There is no brunch offered on Sunday but a pleasant light lunch menu. The wine list is extensive and definitely not overpriced. During summer the service is outside, in the nice garden. Definitely a good address to have a meal near Montreux but away from the traffic of the town. Prices are commensurate to service and quality.
