We checked into the hotel Krone at 1pm and asked about lunch in the restaurant. Reception advised us to check for a table as they were busy. Two waiters assigned us a free table - apparently the last in the restaurant and I said we would be back a few minutes later after taking up our bags.
We sat down at the table, which now was fully set, and waited 15 minutes before physically alerting the coming and going wait staff to our presence. That finally released a menu.
A few minutes later, as we were about to order, an unshaven brute in a slightly soiled white chef's jacket leaned into our faces and said he was the restaurant manager. "Who gave you this table, it is booked!?" "Well, the waiters did and we booked it." "No no, it was already booked previously and you will have to move." A short discussion later we decided to leave. Unpleasant approach, complete lack of civility or care and the wait was already so long we deduced that the kitchen could probably not manage to get us out in time for our afternoon appointments.
So we don't actually know what the food is like. Looked pleasant enough - if you manage to get on the good side of the management.
