Nice quiet church with stunning stained-glass windows that are different from the usual kinds seen in most churches. Worth taking a look even if you are not religious. Sadly photographs are not allowed inside.

Nice old church, easy access. Nice Chagall windows. Can't take pictures of them, but worth a quick visit.

Easy access from Old Town, or from Bahnhofstrasse.

When there are no services going, you can walk all around the church, which has those beautiful stained glass windows and clock outside.

The only place in Zurich we visited twice on consecutive days. The Chagall windows are so magnificent that the first time I saw them they brought out an intensive, reflexive, and almost guttural sigh. The only drawback is that they won't let you take any pictures, because they want you to buy one of theirs, where the proceeds are used to maintain them. I would have happily made a donation for that purpose, to take one or two of my own shots.

Even if you are not religius, do not miss to visit the Fraumunster. The church itself is not very decorative, but the Chagall windows are worth the visit.
Better : find out if there is an organ concert. They are fantastic ! Sometimes there is a 15 minutes concert on Wed morning (7:45 - 8 hs), it's a perfect start !

Chagall glass windows are well known and advertised in every tourist info, they look great, so do the Giacometty windows too, in the back you can find a small inner courtyard with wall paintings and a small garden -take a look, if you have some extra minutes, it's very nice and you can make some great pictures there. The inside of the church cannot be photographed. Except of the windows, interior is quite simple (Reformation has stripped the church of all the artwork, but you can still see some of them in Landesmuseum and Kunsthaus).
