Owner description: This 12th-century cathedral has both historical and architectural significance: Ulrich Zwingli led an important sect of the Reformation from here in the early 1500s, and the cathedral's twin towers serve as perhaps the most recognizable landmarks in modern Zürich.

The carvings on the main entry door and other doors depict "bible stories". Be early to climb the tower. Even though it closes at 6pm in summer, we arrived at 5:30 and we're not able to go up. 5:15 is the last entry time.

A true landmark of Zurich these double towers can be seen from all of the city. Very worth seeing the stained glass windows and the organ

it is a roman style church in zurich near the banks of the limmat river.the twin towers of this church are regarded as a landmark in zurich.it is a very simple church devoid of any ornamentation.the ornate bronze doors at the north n south portals are intresting as are the stained glass windows.the church also houses a reformation museum .just see it for its simplicity.

It was a beautiful church. Highly recommend paying the approximate 4 franks to go to the top. You get a stunning view from the top.

The church is beautiful inside, but climbing to the top is your best bet for an incredible view. The climb is not for the faint of heart, but at the top you can pop out of one of four corners for a beautiful unobstructed city and lake view. Highly recommended!
