Kunsthaus Zurich has a very rich collection of old art (medieval gothic, Rainassance with El Greco, Tintoretto, Canaletto, Rubens etc., impressionists with a few Van Gogh paintings, many works by Monet, Degas, Rodin and oth., 2 sculptures by Brancusi), good collection of modern art, has a free audioguide included in the ticket price, there is a separate audioguide for younger visitors, I found the guide offered very good explanations, all in all the collection is way more reacher then you will expect if you look at the info they provide on the internet. One can spend 2-3 hours or even more there, if you love art. The museum is a little bit outside the tourist ways - you have to walk uphill behind the Grossmunster, then downhill, look for the signs. You can get there by public transport too, tram stop is just in front of it.
