This would be improved by only by having English explanations for each timepiece. Staff always ready to explain in English but sometimes they are very busy with other patrons.

I have found this museum to be very interesting. In is in the cellar of an exclusive watch shop on the Bahnhofstrasse in Zürich. They have a very impressive collection of timekeeping instruments dating from the very beginning of timekeeping. You can read about the collection in the museum guidebooks in many languages. Also the staff is keen on telling you interesting thins about their clocks and sometimes they do a hands-on presentation of a clock. Check their website for some of their most important clocks. Too bad this place doesn't seem to be popular. I would certainly recommend it! Free entrance with the ZürichCard, otherwise 5CHF.
