Great value for a fantastic price in (very expensive) Zurich!

Hotel is outside of Zurich right on the S10 line, maybe a 10 minute ride to the Hauptbahnhof. Stop is a 2 minute walk away from the hotel! Bed was very comfortable and a full size vs. two pushed together mattresses. Very clean. Refrigerator and tea/coffee in room a plus. Also, first time I've seen an ice maker in a European hotel as well! Area was relatively quite, although a hotel is being built nearby that made some noise in the morning starting around 8 am. Staff was friendly enough. Free breakfast was quite good, lots of rolls, croissants, coffee options, cold cuts, cheeses and spreads.

Not so many people know this place. Coz it's hidden and located in the edge of Zürich city. Luckily, there are plenty of access to go to city center from this place.
This 3 stars hotel offers the normal quality. The room are descent and clean. The service respectable. So nothing to complain about. What you give is what you get. Just pity it's a bit far from the city center. :(

I have stayed here twice now and it is a very pleasant hotel, with good rooms, fair prices and a great connection to downtown Zurich. Also. spendidly connecte to the Uetliberg, with absolute peace and lovely nature etc.
Nice breakfast, with good Swiss food.
Downside is no airco.

Room Tip: Corner rooms have a nice view of Zurich

This cozy little hotel offers good value in a city where hotel prices are ridiculously expensive. True, staying at The Guest's House you'll be somewhat outside the central city, but you'll have an S-Bahn train (S10) within a 5 minute walk offering a reliable 10 minute connection to the main train station in central Zurich every 20 minutes. I stayed at this extremely clean and comfortable inn for two nights and found the front desk staff to be very efficient and knowledgeable, breakfast abundant and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom offered a tub and shower. The free Wifi internet service was quick and reliable. I traveled with a small dog and she enjoyed all the greenery and beautiful walks in the area. One downside, as mentioned by other reviewers here, is that the walls are rather thin. During my first night I had no next door neighbors, but they were very much in evidence during the second night. You might consider requesting a room at the end of a corridor having an occupied room on only one side of yours. However, all-in-all I would stay here again the next time I am in Zurich as on a value basis this inn is outstanding.

Room Tip: Since the walls are rather thin, ask for a room at the end of a corridor leaving you with only one next door neighbor.

Very cheap hotel for the Zurich area and exceeds its price level with the quality of service.

The only negative was its location which is on the outskirts of the city but you cant complain for the price.

A meal at the Thai Market is a must!
