We were told by friend of the existence of a restaurant serving very good hamburgers at Stockerstrasse.
We found it one evening at a corner, normal its name is Korner. Decoration is simple but elegant, we regretted that lights were set at a romantic tone atmosphere - for a burger place is not so adequate !
Yes, the burger menu is long and tempting - that is positive.
No, side dishes are charged extra, this is to obviously to assist you in your diet .... but who eats a burger without fries?
And no to pay the sauce on top, why ? surely a concept to make us pay more ? indeed, as at the end you have to pay about CHF 37 to get a burger.
Negative points: almost no starters to choose apart from salads (at main course prices) and overall food was average
Wine list is just okay, too much overpriced for the selection (they multiply by four or even five times market prices). White, red and bubbles, no rosé?
Service was very good and very friendly, thank you Tamara you enlightened our evening.
In summary, it is just an expensive place to be seen rather than a good restaurant to eat.
