We stayed in Swissotel Zurich during the last 3 days of our Honeymoon. We had booked the Pinnacle Double Room, which was on the top 4 floors. We got the 27th Floor. We had a great view from our room, although the room was a tad small. However, it was a modern and well furnished, the breads and pillows were amazing, and there was Free Wi-fi.
The Swimming Pool at the rooftop was good, and the Jacuzzi there was fantastic.
The only grouse I had with the place was that Breakfast was not included in the price.
The location was nice, just across the Oerlikon station which is 5 mins from Zurich HB. We had CO-OP & Migros near the hotel along with a Shopping Mall and good restaurants. There's a Starbucks as well in the Hotel!
Overall, it was a great end to our honeymoon.

Room Tip: Book the Pinnacle Room

We were in Zurich for the easter weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We had high expectations from this hotel and they exceeded our expectations and gave us a five star service. Things that made our stay very special;
(a) The room was really spacious, they welcomed us with flowers and petals on the bed.
(b) Welcome letter from Guest Relations was very thoughtful and personalised.
(c) Spa- We came back from our excursion very tired and wanted to relax in the swimming pool. When we reached the 32nd floor the pleasant spa receptionist (her name- Luba, if i am not wrong) was very very helpful. The spa was closing in 30 mins and still we were granted the entry to the swimming pool.
(d) The entire staff is very friendly and take pleasure in going out of the way to make thier guest's stay exceptional.
This is definitely one of the best hotels to make your trip memorable.

Swissotel's kid's room is the best idea since sliced bread and absolutely hits the spot for me and my family (two boys ages 4 and 6).

Adult room is decent sized, impeccably clean, nice view, comfortable bed. Kid's room - connecting - has kiddie bedspreads, stuffed animals, winie the pooh cups, etc... My kids, who have travelled a lot, consider it their favorite hotel ever. They were sad to leave.

Service was good, friendly, efficient.

Hotel location not in center but still works well. Tram is 20 meters from door, train station is 50. Six minutes by train to airport, 7 to main train station. There are a few options for food close by - the Italian restaurant around the corner is decent and moderately priced for Zurich. Star bucks literally in the lobby. Takeaway across the street in shopping center, and a grocery store with fresh pastries a block away. Also fast food if you're into that - mcdonalds across the street.

All in all, the hotel hit the spot.

Swiss Hotel Zurich was good for a three night stay. I chose the hotel because it had a pool for my young daughter. the location is outside of downtown in an area called Orlikon. It's between the airport and the downtown area. Easy to find, it's one of the tallest buildings in Zurich. the area is nice, train station is right across the street. Several good restraunts and cafe's within walking distance. Online booking was easy. Check in was easy. Parking cost $36chf a day, that was not so nice, but this is Zurich and everything is expensive. We had a "deluxe" room, with a roll away bed for our daughter. Once the rolaway was in, there was no extra space. Internet was free. The pool is amazing! 32nd floor with a spectacular view almost 360 degrees around Zurich. It was a highlight for our daughter. The pool/spa staff were wonderful and make the experience better. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, get it included, it makes up for the tiny room! Overall, I'd go back now that I know what to expect.

Room Tip: This is Zurich so forget about cheap rooms

Parking was $65 for two nights in the hotel. The internet said included on the website, but when you check out they'll be asking for over $50 for two days. Breakfast is $40 per person. $67 added to the price to have our dog with us in a "dog friendly hotel". The spa was fine, but not as nice as the website made it look. 32 floors? No, the elevator skips from the lobby to the 10th floor. We stayed on the "19th floor" which looked suspiciously like a 9th floor view. All around disappointing. NO WAY it's five minutes to downtown. It was $10 in metro tickets just to get back and forth downtown for one person and it took 10-15 minutes and a change of trains. Only plus: Nespresso machine in the premier room.

nice hotel but slightly expensive. good food and wine. located right in front of the train station so connectivity to different parts of zurich is good. hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport. well known for conferences as it has a decent sized conference hall. rooms are not very big but clean and neat.
