We stayed at B Cubed by chance and at the last minute. The property is quite large and there is plenty of place to park etc. The rooms vary in size and ours was a bit small, but we were grateful for the availability. Our room was not perfectly clean (bed linen) and had questionable finishings. The small bathroom had a lovely shower but a strange smell emanated from the basin mat, which I eventually left outside (and reported this to reception later). Breakfast the next morning was small and a bit disappointing, especially considering that we had paid additionally for it. The staff were always friendly.
Accommodation on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast can be out-of-this-world or, it seems, lacking that certain something that makes a guest feel comfortable and "at home". It is a bit sad that this was our experience of this guest house which is in a good location, and has so much potential to be one of those that are out-of-this-world.
