Me and my friend came here on the 16th of august for a relaxing spa break as im 5 months pregnant .
When we arrived we had to wait for our room which wouldnt of been so bad if the staff offered to show us around or even told us a little about the hotel and its facilities but they just told to take a seat. We noticed that they were preparing for a wedding which we wasnt informed about before arriving.

Well where do I start with the relaxing night sleep that we didnt have ?!
The wedding guest were running around of the fire escape right by our window swearing and shouting, children running up and down the hallways.
In our room we had a door that led into a different room, the guest in that room which im assuming were part of the wedding party was up till all hours sounded like they were carrying the party on in their room ! I think I must of had 4 hours sleep max and IM 5 MONTHS PREGNANT !! And to top it off who ever was in that room decided to dry their hair at half 5 in the morning ! I rang reception in the night and I also went to speak to the manager in the morning which didnt seem at all bothered about my complaint !! His answer was "you have to take into consideration that there was a wedding party but everything was shut down by half 11 " yes I agree but not being informed before we came about the wedding, we would of had the option to cancel ! Expecially as it was a traveler wedding ! And yes the music was shut of at half 11 but you couldnt control your guest !! Im absolutely fuming with the response of management and then telling me nothing can be done as I booked online !! I will never come here again and I will definitely be warning people not to come here !!

Learn some customer service !!

Beautiful setting and impressive as you arrive but very disappointing standard of room. We stayed in one of the 'deluxe' studios in the courtyard and I'm afraid it was anything but deluxe. Shabby, dated, grubby and tired we couldn't believe how poor it was. I imagine all the recent investment has gone into the spa development but this is no excuse for tatty, unpleasant accommodation. Old fashioned damaged furniture fixtures and fittings, decades old decor, artexed ceilings, patched carpet (also dated design), damaged wallpaper, tacky bathroom, I could go on and on................

Room Tip: Make sure it's in the main hotel NOT courtyard etc

Love friendly receptionist. The room was a bit dark, but clean and a nice veiw (we were over the entrance). Unfortunately this had a down side especially on the Saturday when a wedding was on and smokers congregate there with the smell and noise comes into the room.
Breakfast was good although some of the younger waiting staff could do with a smile :-) on there faces.
Leisure centre was good, clean well equipped.

Room Tip: Don't have a room above the entrance as smokers congregate there with the smell and noise coming...

We went on a family visit to the area and found the hotel online. The hotel is physically one of distinction, but the chain adds nothing to the excellent hotel appearance.

The rooms are plain and slightly shabby. There are undecorated repairs, internet not working and a broken phone. The shower screen is too small to stop the floor flooding.

A hard working manager tries hard to effect repairs and run the place, but the staff are junior and poorly trained. The receptionist was surly and unhelpful and her colleague the following day gave the wrong change for a payment offered, an error which she did not correct.

The spa timings are very restrictive to families, so you need to plan your day around narrow windows to use the pool.

Adequate in most respects, but we were desperate to get out for dinner in Tenby and just used it as a place to sleep.

The hotel website unfortunately only tells half a story which is very frustrating. We stayed in a family suite in one of the annexe buildings. The room was extremely dated, dirty and needed a total refurb. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and for the money we paid it was not the standard you would expect. It was poor. A frustrating experience considering the great location and excellent spa facilities. Would not recommend.
