“A hidden gem”
Reviewed 20 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Lovely place, perfect for active dog lovers - well equipped, warm and cosy, just right for the four of us. A great centre for visiting this part of the Peak District. Simon and Gemma are great hosts, with an interesting enterprise in alpacas. Definitely worth another visit!

“Overbrook Barn”
Reviewed 3 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We booked this barn for a joint 40th birthday celebration. It was the perfect place for us to spend quality time together. The barn is lovely and cosy in a very picturesque location. There was everything we needed in the barn, including extras such as books & Dvds, which was a nice touch. Lovely owners who were warm and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more and would definitely recommend.

“Fantastic location, outstanding accommodation!”
Reviewed 28 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We wanted somewhere to accommodate up to 8 people and three dogs for a half-term break/surprise birthday celebrations. Overbrook Barn was perfect, with lots of room and excellent facilities. When we arrived, late on the Friday, the Barn was warm and welcoming. The family arrived at various points, with the high point being a huge Sunday roast, cooked in the kitchen, which is way better than our's...

We enjoyed lots of walking, and relaxed in cosy surroundings in the evenings, playing games and enjoying being a family. The countryside is stunning; a visit to The Roaches is a must.

Our week was perfect - Overdalle Barn comes highly recommended!

“Outstanding ”
Reviewed 28 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We stayed just last weekend September 24th 2017.
The Barn is just stunning. Everything in the barn is quality.. Even down to the pots and pans.. Everything you could possibly need even flasks for those long walks. The area is breath taking. You are surrounded by hills ( and Alpacas) :) We had a lovely weekend. We will definitely go back worth every penny.. Many many thanks xx

“Comfortable dog friendly barn”
Reviewed 26 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

A lovely comfortable barn conversion equipped to a high standard. Fantastic location for walking and enjoying the countryside with a bridleway running right past the cottage. Dogs are made very welcome with throws for the sofas and an enclosed garden. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The alpacas fascinated the dogs!

This is a modern cottage in an old barn with top quality furnishings, with all the mod cons and more!

We were a family of 8, the in laws inclusive of sister law and her bf as well as a new born baby and a 5 year old and it did not feel cramped at all.

It's very relaxed and more enjoyable than staying at a hotel. Each room has its own tv and DVD player, comfy beds and lovely warm bedding. The kitchen is even better equipped than my own one.. There's also a folder equipped with everything you need to know from operating instructions for appliances to where to go and what to do.
On the journey to the cottage, the dad in law was a bit disappointed he forgot his maps to identify walking routes but guess what? The cottage even had this!!!

Gemma, the host was so warm and welcoming and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. This is a superb cottage surrounded by lush greenery. it's somewhere we would come stay again in the summer so we can enjoy the outdoors more.

Highly recommend to everyone.

“Excellent Property”
Reviewed 9 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The barn is outstanding, it has everything you need, from a fully equipped Kitchen, Sky TV, DVD.
Luxurious Furnishings throughout, this has to be the most comfortable cottage, we have ever stayed in.

The location is ideal for the many towns in the Peak district and for Dog lovers, with plenty of walks nearby, we can recommend Grin Low, just a couple of minutes drive away.
