“Great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

Very helpful staff. My room looked out to the back, with a view of the park, but that was fine. Being able to walk out of the hotel and watch the boats on the river and walk along the river is a definite plus. Quite a steep walk up to the centre but can be done in 10 min. Close to all amenities including some splendid museums. Room was clean and functional. Breakfast was continental and help yourself which was OK. Availability of fruit varied a bit.

Room Tip: Ask if you want a river view

Nice, friendly, and quiet. Rooms clean and a good size and standard. Stayed one night and would come back. Minor irritant is that desk closed between 11pm-7am so had to use other doorways, but worked ok. Breakfast served but no full service restaurant. Also, elevator noise significant which disturbs other guests, but apart from this would definitely recommend. Good value

Very helpful and friendly staff in a small but neat and affordable hotel. Breakfast is good, hotel offers a nice view to the river (Waal). Do not miss the Velorama museum next door, it's free for hotel guests. You can rent a bike at the hotel reception as a simple way to move around the city.

This hotel lies very nice directly alongside the "Waalkade". The disadvantage of this location is that you can´t park your car next to the hotel. For 12 Euro per day you can solve this problem and park it in the parking garage "Eiermarkt". This is a small walk, approximately 5 min from the hotel. Directly for the beginning you notice the friendliness of the staff, the clearly explain you the different things which are important within the hotel. But these things you expect from each hotel, the real drawback of this hotel are the beds. When staying in a hotel you expect proper beds, but the beds we had where old and you could feel springs within the mattress. When they would renew the mattresses this hotel is a definitely one to visit.

A pleasant boutique hotel with a good location overlooking the water and a short walk from the town centre.
Clean and tidy with all you require in your room. Cold breakfast nice selection.
Only disappointment was that if I book a double bed I don't expect to get two single beds pushed together.

Room Tip: Check you have got a double mattress

Nicely located hotel, close to the old city. Room on the riverside offered a great view on the bridge and the ships. Good breakfast facilities. Room was not very big, but clean and well furnished. Owner arranged a parking space on the small private parking space that they have.

When we called the hotel to say we would not make the 11pm check-in time the owner was kind enough to wait until we arrived. He also made sure we knew a safe place to park our car.

The location is very good. In just 10-15 minutes you can me in the old town or a park or shopping or movies.

Our room had a river view which was nice. You could not open the windows, so it did get a little stuffy.

The elevator was not working and navigating even small bags was difficult in the narrow staircase.

The hotel gives free entrance to the bike museum - located next door. Guest can also rent bikes.
