Very easy to find with large parking space. Beautiful restaurant interior, nice rooms. Good breakfast but very expensive. Our eyebrows raised the fact that I was given the net price, at the end they added of course additional taxes and fees that was some 130 euros more ... That was very unpleasant surprise. So always ask there for final price with all taxes!Maastricht impressed me : the order, purity, well organised, beautiful gardens and homes. Really nice soothing place. We visited a nearby krigloops which was interesting experience. It is a very nice place to go for weekend.

The hotel is located directly on the highway. Taxi's to the city centre are available at a special rate, so no public transportation fuss to deal with.

The hotel itself offers paid 'secure' parking (parking lot with a gate, but anyone can just walk in), but in the very near vicinity there is free parking that in my honest opinion is just as secure.

The rooms are clean and sober and therefore not suitable for ‘stay-in-room’ romantic weekends and the like, but for anyone that only uses the hotel for sleeping, it is absolutely recommended!

Hotel has spent a lot of money on styling that has no substance. The hotel is not 4* it is a bog average 3*. The gym is three items of gym equipment shoved under the stairs! The staff on reception are frosty. Breakfast... I've had better in and ibis! Rooms are very standard and actually a bit depressing with the grey interior and typical energy efficiency lighting. My advice... Give it a miss.

Personal was very helpful and kind.Breakfast was good although 18,50 € is too much for it.
But the rest is not very satisfying.Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear everything between walls, bathroom was not clean and I mean not clean.I found someone else hair pin on the floor. Towels were smelling like kitchen. Dust was everywhere.
And so on.I would have understanding if this was 3 star hotel but 4 star has to be better.
One more thing, hotel is far from city center and taxi is around 12 € but if you order it in hotel you have a discount.

Me and my girlfriend had a marvelous stay at Golden Tulip Apple Park Maastricht. This hotel is located just outside the centre of Maastricht. They offer several options to go into town, like electric scooters, discount cards for taxi and a hotel shuttle bus. So getting in and out of the centre is made very easy. The Jensen beds in the executive rooms are also a pleasure to sleep in. I normally never sleep that well in hotels, but this stay proved that it is actually possible. The service is remarkable, the staff did anything possible to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Big compliments to all and thank you very much for a wonderful weekend! To have a closer look at the hotel and for very useful information, visit their extended website www.goldentulipappleparkmaastricht.nl

Room Tip: I would say pay a little bit extra and get the Executive room. Beds are marvelous!

We needed a hotel with a car park and this was the best value of the 3 which we found. There is a pay car park with security cameras, but there is a large car park next to it. It might get full if there is an event on at the arena next door. The staff were very helpful & spoke perfect English. Our room was clean and tidy and quite modern. Breakfast was excellent, although on Sunday morning we had to wait to be seated as it was very busy, but an extra coffee machine provided us with a drink while we waited. On Monday there was no problem. It took us 20 minutes to walk to the footbridge into the railway station and from here it was a further 10 mins to St Servaas bridge. The only problem was the all the roadworks and all the pavements were dug up so we had to take the underpass but we encountered no problems.

Nothing special really...the concept is a bit confusing, with a "hard rock cafe" feel to it, with lots of American (plastic) items all over the place - except for two real Harley Davidson bikes in the lobby (next to the plastic Statue of Liberty!)
Rooms are clean but could really need a brush-up - too many steel plates and other "cool" 80's metal arrangements.
Check-in personel seemed almost annoyed by us, even though we were the only one there, but the girl at the reception in the morning was very helpful and smiling.
15€ for parking at an open, non-secured lot is too much.
Around 30 min to city by leg, 5 min by car.
