This was my first trip to Europe so I don't have a sense of typical hotels and amenities. The NH may be excellent but I would rate it below most U.S. convention or full-service hotels.
The room was small and the bed too firm and uncomfortable. It may have been a king-size bed but was really two twins pushed together. Only two pillows that were small squares instead of big rectangles. There was no clock or radio in the room, so bring your own alarm. The TV was old-style, not flat-screen, and there weren't many channels. The desk was ok and I got some work done. Bring an adapter to use the single electrical outlet. There was no ironing board or iron in the room so I asked at the desk and they said they would bring one up. None appeared, so I just wore wrinkled clothes.
The bathroom was ok - shower stall but no bathtub. This may be another European thing, but my single bar of soap and shampoo weren't replaced so after a while I was down to a sliver. I think on day 3 I got a new bar of soap and shampoo bottle.
There's a bus stop in front of the hotel and it's pretty easy to figure out how to get to the city center. I recommend taking some time to walk around - it's a pretty compact city and you can see a lot in an hourlong walk.
