Went here for a coffee and lunch on my own when visiting the city. Big tables, small tables, lots of reading material and an interesting crowd. Good to sit at one of the large open windows and crowd watch. Didn't know what to eat, and was recommended the beet root, egg, cress, and bacon open sandwich. It was great. Good coffee as well at the 2€ price mark. Went back a few days later for a relaxed Saturday morning coffee and sat at a communal table with a nice vibe watching the city get drenched with rain outside. Good background music as well, and I gather it's a good spot for evening drinks and dinner etc. I'll be back next time I'm in Maastricht!
