Charming and lovely boutique hotel in the city of Maastricht. Conveniently located in the city centre, rooms individually furnished, great breakfast and the owners are incredibly nice and helpful. Would stay in this hotel any time again

This is a very classy hotel in Maastricht, and I would recommend considering this in any visit to the city. Excellent location in the heart of old town. Functions as art gallery during daytime, though rather sleepy and appears to be more aimed at hotel guests themselves. The rooms were very adequate, large and bright in historic building. Bathroom and shower were good, but poor drainage in sink. Average room was made up for in the quality of breakfast which was quite excellent. Fresh breads, fruits, cakes, juices and coffee in beautiful chapel. Friendly owners, very apparent that it is a family-run business. I would return to this hotel during future visits to Maastricht.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 6. Lots of stairs. Large and bright. Poor water drainage but expect this will b...

Good location (very close from city center and the main plazza, need to walk 5/7 min), high standard, the breakfast quality is outstanding and classy and the breakfast place is amazing, actually much better than on the pictures you can see, the art galery and the owners, the rooms decoration style all make it so nice.
Our room was so nicely decorated, really great taste, our at least similar to ours. ;0). Ok this was on the street so early morning you hear some noise. The street is a very small street so very limited noise, but yes, good place.
There is a parking no so far you can use (and pay), also an interesting place, a previous pasta factory, we recommend. Go there.

Room Tip: We know only one. Other should be also very nice.

I stayed here with my friend on 8 Feb 14. Could not fault this hotel. Location is perfect in the old town and within a few minutes walk of the centre. We reserved a parking space with the hotel for ease and this was also very close to the hotel.

We received a warm welcome and was offered plenty of advice and information to help with our stay. The room was on the top floor, spacious, clean and attractive with a wonderful view over the rooftops of the city. The only tip I would give is not to stay here if you are disabled or have walking difficulties and the stairs are steep and there are plenty of them!

If you want a hotel with charm, this is the place to stay as the art gallery downstairs added something extra.

I would definately stay here again.

This is an absolute top hotel for those who like to stay in a warm, cosy hotel with a warm hart for Art and situated in a nice old part of the city centre.
Just 7 rooms, each a beauty on its own and serviced by a warm hearted couple who help you to feel comfortable in this beautiful city.

Room Tip: If you have some trouble with stairs choose a room with a low number. Highest room = 7 but walk wit...

The hotel is in the centre of the town, so only a couple of minutes walk to anywhere. Then again, the town is quite small so staying anywhere would mean you are only a couple of minutes walk to anywhere in town!

There is no doubt this place is a boutique hotel, but it didn't really appeal to me too much.

We stayed in Room 1 - a very large room with art on the walls - as you would probably expect being as you were staying above a gallery! The room had 2 beds pushed together rather than a double - it also had 2 duvets. I'm not used to sleeping on a single bed and didn't appreciate it. There was also a single bed up against the wall, so might be useful as a family room.

There was a TV in the room, a sofa, coffee machine and mini bar with complimentary water. WELL DONE. It really irks me when you are not given free water, but all you can drink coffee / tea etc. But, with such a large room, the size of the TV was laughable. I think the screens I have in the back of my car are bigger....

Also, there was free WiFi which should come as standard these days in my opinion.

The bathroom was alright, but the size of the "towels" were silly. There was a robe, but it was not absorbant in any way.

The room had a safe, iron / board and hair dryer.

The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast - plenty of choice, although I did give the unusual bread which you sprinkle with hundreds and thousands a miss....

Parking was a couple of minutes walk away which was €15 a day which I object to. The room was quite expensive and in reality I think you would get a better room in a capital city for a similar price.

Maastricht is a lovely town though. Go and enjoy it. It is lively, classy and has lots of charm. The people are very friendly and the choice of bars, restaurants, shops and so on are all so varied you can't not have fun. If I went back though, I wouldn't stay here from a cost:benefit analysis.

Was delighted to stumble on this little gem in the heart of beautiful Maastricht.
The hotel is small and charming with beautiful gallery on the ground floor.
We didn't take breakfast but I took a look in the morning and it looked fabulous.

The room was clean and comfortable. Owners were welcoming and friendly.
The building itself is charming and old, if you're very tall like me then watch out for the low doorways.

Charming, comfortable hotel in great location. Will stay again.
