“Great hotel near the Dutch / Belgian border”
Reviewed 26 September 2012

Great hotel to meet up and do business if you have folks from Belgium and The Netherlands to accommodate. Breda itself has direct train links to Schipol and the hotel is 15 mins in a taxi from the train station.

Rooms are very spacious and well eqipped with tea / coffee making facilities and bathrooms as big as they come. The lifs are well away from the rooms too which make all rooms very quiet.

Not much in the way of leisure facilities which lets the hotel down but you can hire bikes and cycle through the nearby forests which is also popular with joggers.

Conference facilities is what makes this hotel work so well, particularly if you're running a BeNeLux conference since the location on the Belgian / Dutch border will suit most folks.

The food in the restaurant was excellent and the hotel was able to provide a meal for 30 folks with a reasonable menu and wine selection at short notice.

Despite being so close to the highway and railway, the hotel is very well insulated and no noise from outside was heard.

Overall, a very good experience

Just as the title: perfect place for a stopover on a longer trip or as in my case setting up a meeting between Belgian & Dutch folks.

Friendly staff and it delivers all you expect: next to the highway, a parking lot in front, wireless internet, a restaurant and meeting rooms.

Don't look for anything else, it is not to be found.

Room Tip: better on the backside of the hotel: less noise

Stay at this hotel for 2 times on 1 day business trip. Good location, ample free parking, clean decent size room, spacious bath and adequate breakfast. Disappointed that queen size bed not available and joining 2 beds not optimal for good night sleep esp if mattress is way too soft!

I would recommend this as a really comfortable and attractive stop-over if touring by road in Netherlands/Belgium. It's quite a long way out of town and from the railway station, so has nothing nearby except Ikea and business parks, but excellent road links. Very spacious, comfortable, modern rooms; surprisingly quiet (given the motorway connections) and conducive to a really good night's sleep. Buffet breakfast was very good though not as extensive as some you might get in this type of hotel. Great value for money and would definitely recommend/stay again.

Room Tip: All much the same - just shop around on internet. We used hotel.com.

We had our annual sales meet in the Netherlands, and our team was put up at the Hotel Princeville in Breda. Decent location, very nice people and great rooms for the price paid. I really liked the fact that this was not like a typical European accomodation..the room and the loo were quite spacious.
The breakfast was very good...decent spread and good enough choices for vegetarians. The front desk was particularly helpful as I had a broken phone charger....the managed to get me a replacement for a day, after which i used the charging station.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're in the Breda area for business or with family. Its only a short drive to Breda downtown and the hotel arranges for taxis, in case you need it.
Oh I forgot, their bar is pretty nice and their ala carte menu is very good! They had something pretty spicy for our Indian tastes :)
Our team had a good opportunity to bond with the folks from around the World!

Hotel located about 5-10 minutes by car from city center which is really nice, with bars, restaurants, shops. Hotel itself it quite new - built around 3 years ago so it's still "fresh". Rooms are really big, also bathrooms with bathtubes tough the space makes the room a bit cold. Food is quite good especially breakfast, i liked the most croissants:) Generally staff was ok but sometimes one receptionist was making some problems while issuing invoice.

Stayed at the Princeville for one night in Dec 08, booked with the hotel directly by phone.

Check-in was quick and professional.

Room was a very good size, lots of storage space with hangers in the closet, 2 armchairs and a large desk. The tv was a small lcd on the wall, which can't be turned to face different parts of the room. Bathroom was very large, with shower over the tub and everything was very clean. There is a kettle in the room, with an assortment of teas and instant coffee sachets.

In my room, the bed was a comfortable king size made up of two oversize singles pushed together, which was fine, with a comforter and good pillows. My room faced the back of the property, so there was no noise during the night. But another colleague had a room on the front of the property front, which faced a busy road and he was woken up by the traffic noise.

The room had free wired internet access which I used, worked fine, and there was also a wireless service for a fee, which I didn't use so can't comment on it.

There are two restaurants, and I went to the one which was more casual. The food was fine, and the service was very good and attentive.

The hotel is a fair distance from the centre of Breda, but it's easy enough to order a taxi, so that wasn't a problem. Nearest train station with a taxi rank is Breda. Another train station, Breda-Prinsenbeek is closer, but doesn't have a taxi rank.

All in all, a good business hotel, with excellent service, and I would recommend it particularly to business travellers.
