Stayed at this hotel as a stop off whilst driving to Germany.

Check in at the restaurant next door. Very friendly and gave advise on parking (on the other side of the square is possible but costs 2.5€ hour, pay at meter. Parking fees stop at 9pm and then restart at 9am.

Rooms through a separate door off the street. They are a little small but well furnished. The bathroom is tiny but functional. Something a bit strange over the door out to the corridor. They created a false ceiling but then not filled in in from the room side so you have a big exposed cavity over the door and bathroom (not really an issue but just seems odd not to finish it off properly.

Breakfast included and very nice.

The location is great on a nice square with some nice bars/restaurants and just 5 minutes walk leads to many many more choices of places to eat and drink, also a walk to the station if using the train.

This is a B&B (or more like guesthouse) operated by a restaurant bar (next door) downstairs. The room is small and a bit dark. The bathroom is a bit cramped. Outstanding breakfast.

It is not a hotel but like a guesthouse. The main business seems to be the restaurant downstairs. The B&B is next door. Although the room is small, simple, cosy and clean. Keep in mind that hotels in the Netherlands are quite expensive. The price they offer is therefore unbeatable. A bottle of drinking water is offered in the room. The WiFi is free!!! The bathroom is nevertheless too small.

The breakfast is the highlight of the stay. Although it is not buffet but the breakfast will be served to your table in a tower set!!! You cannot finish it I bet. There is a big variaty of food, with high quality. Moreover, the restaurant where you also have the breakfast is VERY LOVELY.

The train station is in a walking distance. The main bus station is next to it. Bus no.16 stops near the B&B.

Shops in the Netherlands close very early. Around 6 pm. Do not miss them.

We stayed in this B&B for one night, and I would definitely stay here again. Our room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable, although the matress was quite soft. The bathroom was clean but felt a bit cramped. It also looked like the owner did some DIY with not enough experience, example the door couldn't close but thats just a little pointer. In general the room was clean and looked good.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the hotel next door was good.

This so called hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes from Philips Stadium. It is not in the centre of town but within reasonable walking distance of the main shopping areas and museums. There is no reception as such, you will complete the formalities in the restaurant bar and be asked to pay in advance if you have not prepaid through a web site. Unusual, but more than adequate, set breakfast brought to your table on a cake stand including: yoghurt, carrots and cucumber, various breads (no toast) cheese and preserves and small amount of cereal (for the yoghurt?) but ask for more cereal and milk if you prefer it that way. You will be offered a plate of scrambled eggs but nothing else cooked (not an issue for me). There is good radiator type central heating in room but no air conditioning which could be a problem in summer. There is a coffee machine and kettle in the room. Free wifi in room. Room safe (free).

I asked for and was grantred a late check out till 1.00pm (Saturday) without a problem. The owner's parents do the house-keeping and as it was the weekend and they were not busy I think they were going to leave my room make up till the next day; so you may not get this on a weekday.

However, this is not a hotel, as classified by some web sites. Tripadvisor are correct to classify it as a B&B. Actually, it is a restaurant where the owner has bought the building next door and converted it into 8 bedrooms. You get a key for the main door as well as your room. The rooms are small and cramped and bathroom is smaller than that. There is a wardrobe but no drawers whatsover, so you will have to live out of your suitcase, which I placed on the second bed. If there are two people in the room you will have nowhere to put your cases. The mattress was soft and although only a year old, sagged in the middle (Room 3). You will get two single beds with one headboard and one quilt cover, which was only adequate for one single bed if placed lengthways otherwise your feet would not be covered. The bath towels were quite small. There is a shallow desk that is adequate for a laptop with three wire shelves that you could use for some papers and what appears to be a wine rack on the bottom? If you are single the room is adequate for one night but after three nights I found it very cramped. A large person would have considerable difficulty using the toilet. Two people using the room will find it very difficult especially if you do not want to sleep side by side as the single beds cannot be separated! If one person sits down or is dressing there really is no space for the other person. The rooms are reasonably clean although I found dust on the bed side light stands, the kettle & coffee machine and the top of the small TV. There is no phone connection with reception and you have to walk out of the building to the restaurant next door for breakfast.

All the staff were very pleasant and dealt adequately with minor requests but, for example, could not produce a local map.
