Great place to stay if you want to be in the centre of everything and don't mind lots of street noise.
The restaurant downstairs serves great food at reasonable prices.
I stayed here during the world cup game between Holland and Argentina when there was 4000 people in the square outside the hotel and the staff handled everything without a problem
The only issue was the rain.
Would have no problem staying here again.

Room Tip: Room away from the square

It's hard to beat this hotel for location if you want to be close to the restaurants, shops and pubs. Also a comfortable walk (15 mins) to train and bus station. The staff were great and we enjoyed the room and bath etc. Very good value - it's practical and just what you need for a stop over.

great hotel in a great location. Have stayed here twice and on the last occasion stayed in the royal suite. Fantastic room over looking the main square which is great at Christmas time. The food and drink in the downstairs bar/restaurant is lovely and good value for money. Very friendly and efficient staff in hotel and bar. Great location for business or leisure. Right in the heart of the shopping district and plenty of pubs etc in the area.

Room Tip: get the royal suite

This hotel is located in a great part of town right in one of the main town squares. It is a great place to stay if you like to smoke or stay out all night and party. But if you like a good nights sleep then I suggest that you stay somewhere else. We found that we should have asked for a smokefree room as the cushions and bedspreads smelt of smoke. We did have a great view of the square from our room but the noise from below went on most of the night.

I found the Queen Hotel excellent as it was very close to all activities which toy need. Socializing was fantastic & it was nice to meet up with people I knew from when I lived here many years ago.
Plenty of thing to go.

Room Tip: Chose a room looking over the Plaza

The Queen Hotel is very well located with spacious clean rooms. It is a no frills hotel, but with great cost / benefit. The pubs around do not bother and are an attraction on sunny days. Ask for a room on the highest floor and away from the elevator. Nuisance: use the paid parking of the shopping center and the smell of smoke, mainly at the entrance and common areas. But that was okay for me...

I expect a hotel to offer a good bed, a clean shower, free wifi and a practical location. The Queen has all this, at low prices. So far, so good. On the down side, the bars downstairs can get noisy and the wifi was down half of the time during my stay. Still good value for money.

Room Tip: As for a room not overlooking the noisy bars downstairs. Don't go here if you need uninterrupted...
