Like many churches these days, this one has succumb to having to let itself out to sustain itself. They recently fixed up parts inside like the roof and some of the beams.
Outside is a classic Dutch 1600's style with large windows and nice brickwork.
Little thing to know, apparently should Alkmaar flood the church was built to remain just above sea level so it should remain dry.
