“Great trendy restaurant in the North of Amsterdam”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Very good restaurant, friendly staff, price quality is right, good menu alot of seasonal artisan food. I thought the that the cold lobster with lemon mayonaise was fronzen lobster, that was the only minor thing.
A bit hard to find for tourists, there is a little Ferry stopping there from Java Island, parking is not Free, except during weekdays, the 1st 3 Hours are Free. It's a former transit warehouse of Stork and über hip nowadays :) worth visiting again

“A bit of effort to get there but well worth it”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

We took a ferry then a 15 min walk ending up on an industrial estate, which opens out onto the harbour front to reveal a cavernous warehouse, a superbuzzy atmosphere and a sense of having found something less ordinary. The food was great and the service very good considering how busy it was. I agree with other reviewers that this place feels Dutch, and I didn't hear English spoken by other diners (not sure how long that will last though...) - obviously some people will be put off by the logistics but for us very much part of a memorable experience. Foot ferry back to Java Island and across the bridge back to Amsterdam Central with the sun going down - fabulous.

“Gave us a smile on a very sad day”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We arrived at exactly 18.00 hours and the staff smiles at you like you are their long missing friend and treat you that way. People just love to work at that place. We only had a selection of starters and one main to share. All damn tasty and fresh. Wines are very friendly priced and in a wide selection of choice. Can come up with many reasons to go back and again and again.....

“Triple play week”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Three remarkable food experiences across three places in the Amsterdam area...this was the third...in a HUGE warehouse open concept room....good sized kitchen well staff....again everything was presented and prepared expertly. The service suffered a bit near the end of a late supper, but was always friendly and effective. The staff really understood the menu and that is always a good sign.

“excellent, but”

Great menu and atmosphere - except for non stop cigar smoking by two diners that certain staff seemed afraid to confront
