We travel a lot in Asia and one of our favourite foods is sushi. Nothing beats freshly made sushi :-). In Amsterdam however it is hard to find sushi for a reasonable price that is also tasty. In general we are disappointed by the sushi (even our previous "favourite" sumo disappoints us).
Anyway we felt like sushi and decided to give Sushi Time WTC a try. We arrived on a Friday and apparently on Thursday and Friday it is all you can eat for €25,- excluding drinks. The restaurant has a nice style and when you arrive you can decide to sit at a table or at the conveyer belt.
Of course we took the last one as it is a lot more fun. Food is served on small coloured plates. Straightaway the staff makes you feel at home.
In general we liked the sushi and other food that was served. Only we think they should use a system that after a few rounds food on the belt is removed and replaced by fresh food is introduced (like what happens in Asia). Perhaps because business was slow we noticed this?
Note: as this restaurant seems to be aimed at business people at the WTC it is already open before lunch but it closes around 21.00. So no late dinner ;-).
All in all we had a good evening. Would we come back? Maybe as the price is good and the quality acceptable ;-).
