Place was clean, staff helpful and friendly, free tea and coffees from the reception desk, however there was no lift in the building and getting to the 5th floor was quite an effort! We rented bikes at a good price and they were in good conditions. Unfortunately the place can be noisy at times (when people pass by the room or hang out in the corridor) and there were people smoking cannabis inside the premises even if it was prohibited. Free wi-fi service and bag holding service. Overall a pleasant stay for a two star hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was tiny but all we needed as we spent the day our biking around. Very close walking distance to everything we needed to see! Very easy to access by train and tram. Highly recommend

Great location and a 10 second walk to the nearest tram stop. The hotel room is in good condition and looks nice. Only problem I found was that there was no lift and we stayed on the 4th floor but it's a very minimal problem.
Room tip: Buy toiletries. You only get a tiny shower gel and bar of soap. No flannels.

Positives: Its cheap, central, clean, good staff, and a place to sleep! Negatives: Walls are like paper, gap under door so lots of noise from the hall when people passing, awake early due to this reason!
Good spot to use as a base to explore the city, in a great area too. Good for a group of friends maybe but not so much for couples!

Great place to stay, easy walk to central Amsterdam and Museumplein. There is a pizza place next door, on the other side is a coffeeshop and up the street is a McDonalds open till 2:45am, bonus! Easy to get the tram from the hotel, Prinsengracht tram stop is very close to the hotel.

This is the second time we have been to this hotel. Very good for the price you pay!
A big thing for me is location - especially in Amsterdam as I like to explore everywhere on foot. This hotel is not to far from central station and very easy to navigate - close to tram stops also.
Plenty of good coffee shops within distance and the main attractions /bars also.
The room itself was nice and the bed very comfy with a good shower and cleaned every day whilst we were out.
Had a room with street view and you couldn't hear the noise from a busy street within distance.
Will deffinatly return again.
