“Have the Tja Siew (very good)”
Reviewed 21 May 2014 via mobile

+ Chinese tea available, huge share portions around €12, €2 soft drinks,

- no alcohol, Atmosphere is a bit poor, the menus are on the table underneath sheet of glass

Have the Tja Siew, it's a delicious mountain of pork, best shared.

Staff is overworked, food is good to delicious.

If you're lucky you can grab a table near the window and overlook a bit of red light canals.

“Great value and large portions.”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

This is a classic chinese resturant , more like a cafe .,the food is good , the portions are huge , we couldn't eat them all , the boiled rice or noodles are very tasty , as is the barbecued pork. Chinese tea is served with the meal , service is good , decor is basic , but that is what good chinese restaurants are usually like. Well worth trying out.

“Good food and value, but understaffed and poor service”
Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

The food serve at the Wing Kee was excellent and te portions were HUGE. The restaurant was slightly understaffed with only two woman serving the whole place which meant service was brisk and lacking, but that was understandable as the waiters were rushed off their feet. Prices of the dishes were good, especially considering the size of the portions.

“Good Chinese food. No complaints.”
Reviewed 27 February 2014 via mobile

Simple Chinese menu served in big portions at reasonable prices. It was nearly full and a good, if canteen like, atmosphere. Lots of choice round that area but we weren't disappointed.

“You came for an inexpensive meal, right?”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

It's true that there are better restaurants than Wing Kee.

That did not stop me from returning. I was travelling solo, and didn't want to spend hours in a dimly-lit restaurant, whispering sweet nothings to nobody. I was hungry, and Wing Kee soon fixed that up for me. Twice.

I had the cuttlefish the first time (barely had room to attack the rice) and then the mixed fried rice the next day - which I just got through.

Service is great, as is the location.
