Definitely go to this museum when in amsterdam. If a university student check if you have access to eduroam, and set up before you go! Also, highly recommend the app for the museum, it may even be worth downloading ahead of time and taking a tour in the app to ensure you allocate enough time! (I'm definitely going back!)

This is Amsterdam’s premier classic art museum. Rembrandt’s a plenty. I expected grand art and got it.

This museum is lovely and easy to navigate with the app that we downloaded once we arrived. The employee at the information desk was less than helpful, but we sorted things out ourselves.

Sure, there're a lot of paintings by famous artists, such as Rembrandt and Vermeer, but if you're not crazy about them - don't go, you'll just spend 17.5 EUR per ticket, which is way too much for this museum, in my opinion.

One of the best collections in Europe. Highly recommended. It takes a good half day or more. If you get to tired, get the Amsterdam Card and you can go back for a second visit.
