“Gorgeous Concert Hall!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

The concert hall is lovely. Many famous composers have conducted here. The location is beautiful, and there are many cafes around for a preconcert dinner. The bar provides complimentary wine and juice. A must stop for your visit to Amsterdam.

“great place to catch a concert or two!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

a very nice setting across museum plein makes it very accessible on the no5 tram. The tickets are not over the top and includes wine. The hall itself has great acoustics and a magical old world setting that is quite intimate. We enjoyed a western classical concert here! Would certainly go back again.

“If you can catch a concert, enjoy”

This is a really nice concert hall, so if there happens to be a concert that interests you while you are there, go for it! You'll enjoy, and it is enjoyable to do something with the locals.

“Lovely Recital Hall”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

Lovely chamber concert in the small hall, a charming room that seats a four hundred. I believe the "great hall" was closed for the summer and I was sorry also to miss the tour of this hall which takes place several times a week.

“What a stunning acoustics and great concert!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

We went for a concert of baroque music with Academie fuer Alte Musik Berlin playing all-baroque program on the national day of mourning for loss of passengers on MH17. It was a sad occassion in which the ensemble dedicated the performance of the 2nd movement of the Bach's 3rd Orchestral Suite (air) to the memory of the victims. This was a very touching moment with this most beautiful piece and I will always remember this performance.
Great concert in such a great and acoustic building. If you happen to travel to Amsterdam and like classical music, please do check the program on the net. The ticket service is excellent, had the english language option and the tickets were ready for collection with my name on it. Highly recommended visit!
