Owner description: Visit the hiding place where Anne Frank wrote her diary during the Second World War. From 9 AM to 3:30 PM the museum is only open to visitors with an online ticket for a particular timeslot. Tickets are made available on the website two months in advance. The Anne Frank House is a small museum with limited capacity. The demand for tickets is far greater than the number available. If you are unable to buy an online ticket, you can always from 3:30 PM until closing time visit the museum and buy a ticket at the museum entrance. Please note: Due to renewal work, from 16 October 2017 admission to the Anne Frank House is temporarily only with an online ticket with a timeslot.

Walk through a part of history but be prepared to become emotional. Very well done and gives you a miniscule glimpse of living hell for a 13 year old.

Really moving hearing about the story of Anne Frank and being in the house where they were in hiding. Makes you appreciate the simple things in life.

Couldn't get into the actual hiding place in my wheelchair but there is an accessible way into the museum which was very interesting and moving. There is a lovely cafe and very helpful staff too.

You can't come to Amsterdam and not visit the Anne Frank house. It is well preserved down to the haunting photos she pasted on her wall. It's really an amazing experience to come face to face with history, take it in and really absorb how brutal humans can be. It will stay with you. As always there will be lines. There are ways around it, and of course time of day is a factor, so read up and plan carefully.
