Owner description: The Anne Frank House is a museum with a story. As a visitor, you experience this story through quotes, photos, videos, and original items. The atmosphere in the museum is authentic and subdued. The Anne Frank House can only be visited with an online ticket for a specific date and time. 80% of tickets for any date are released exactly two months in advance. The remaining 20% are released on our website on the day. The demand often exceeds the number of available tickets. We advise you to buy your online tickets well ahead of time. Tickets for holidays and weekends sell out quickly.

What makes this museum so special is the museum is the actual house that Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis in for over two years. The self-guided tour walks you through the life of Anne and her family, as well as those that risked everything to keep them safe.

The journey through the museum elicits many emotions. It is horrifically sad and reminds us of the worst of humanity while at the same time showing us how kind, brave and compassionate people can be

A must in Amsterdam. A place to remember what we can’t forget as a human being. It’s history, it’s a story

The Anne Frank House is very cool because it has so many parts of history. It has Anne Frank’s real diary!!! Very kid friendly.

A very moving and well organised and laid out experience. The house and secret annex has been preserved as it was in 1944. Recommended

This museum is infamous and you can see why. To begin, you generally will have to stand in line for hours, within the longest line you have ever seen, wrapping around buildings and down the street. Then you will enter this beautiful building and walk with a crowd through it, taking in the videos and stories. It was fine, but nothing like the Jewish museum in Berlin.
