A great place to wander. Many interesting shops. We visited Anne Frank House and wondered in this area for a few hours.

A lovely canal with picturesque houses on either side of it. We visited an antique shop which sells coffee and juices. The best coffee in Amsterdam from Italy. A lovely place to wander along and relax at your own pace, watch out for the bikes whizzing past a must for every visit the the city

Looking back on our time in Amsterdam, many visuals come to mind, I photographed the canals over and over. They are interesting to shop, walk, dine , cross over the bridges and so beautiful in the different lights of the amsterdam sky.

There are two ways to enjoy this stylish area of Amsterdam. One is to travel down the canal and see the houses and buildings from water level - the Old Town needs to be seen from water level. The other is to take a leisurely walk along the paths beside the canal. The advantage of walking is that you can stop and look. We enjoyed both.
