We found this place after a quick Google search for the best/better steakhouses in Amsterdam (they're all over the place!). The review we found highly recommended the place and they were spot on. After a rainy walk from our apartment to Rembrandt Square it was only another minute or two to the restaurant. It was later in the evening, probably close to 9pm, but they were more than happy to serve us. The place was nearly empty (a welcome treat after a day spent at the Rijks) and we were given a choice of where to sit. Our waiter was quite nice, spoke decent English, and had our drinks out very quickly. Three menus were provided - Argentinian Steakhouse, Peruvian home cooking, and tapas. We went with steak and a few side dishes and were not disappointed. The food was excellent - the steaks were cooked exactly as requested and the side dishes piping hot and delicious. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that they were not accepting credit/debit cards that night but that seems to be a common occurrence in Amsterdam so we were always prepared with cash.
