The hotel was in a great location. The staff in my experience were among the best I have meet.Nothing was a problem to them. The rooms were spacious and clean, The breakfast was good but a little expensive. Would I return yes, but check rates before hand as they can change depending what is on. My advice would be to phone the hotel first for price. Try to get rate including breakfast .
It took a while to get the hang of the tram system. That was my fault because when I told the girl how confusing it was in 3 mins she gave me map told me all i needed from central station was number 9. My advice ASK the people who know.
WARNING Watch out for the bikes they rule the road. At crossings when the lights are green for you to cross bus, cars, trams will stop BIKES NO.

My wife and I enjoyed a five nigyt stay at this hotel in May. The accommodation was exactly as described, our room spacious and well equipped and the breakfast choice was wide and high quality to meet all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is ideal for central Amsterdam via a very convenient No 9 tram service outside the door. Would definitely stay here again if the service is maintained and rates remain competitive.

Our stay in Amsterdam was great. The Manor Hotel was one of the best hotels of our trip. It is centrally located with the tram system out the front door. Everyone was so nice and always helpful. When we asked for suggestions on where to go and what to see, they guided us around the city with ease and made sure we didn't pay more than was needed. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The staff were friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the concierge Marcel who, when the restaurant we wanted was full, went ahead and booked us in an amazing fish restaurant which turned out to be one of the high points of our trip! The breakfast buffet was rich, though my only small criticism is that the restaurant was a little noisy due to the high ceilings and no carpet on the floors and the buffet area was a little cramped. The room was quiet, with a great combination of modern and cosy. There are tram lines right outside the hotel which take you quickly to the center of town and a large and lovely park for walking and running one block away. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.

Room Tip: Our room was under the roof and very quiet.

Until one stays in this hotel it will not be easy to see why this hotel is worth going back to. Spacious and well designed with the right choice of colors. Large windows to let the lights in and a modern touch to the bathroom adds to the comfort. Staff were always friendly and willing to accommodate personal needs.

The tram stop is a few hundred yards from the hotel entrance, making it very convenient to get around. There are a few restaurants to choose from and within walking distance. If one wants to venture to a super-market for personal needs, that also is close by. Or if nothing else the Oosterpark is a good place to breathe some fresh air into the lungs as well as keep your body fit.

Overall, I personally liked this hotel and when I was there towards the end of January the price was very agreeable also.

Room Tip: If you want some quiet ask for rooms at the back.
