We celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner here on our last night in Amsterdam. We reserved our table in advance and was greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbles whilst we looked through the menu. Beautiful white linen table cloths overlooking the canals and opera house. The Tasting Menu was available in 3 or 4 courses at a very reasonable price and the a la carte menu was interesting and more unusual than most restaurants. The chef must spend hours preparing his vegetables as we had the 3 course set menu and the a la carte whiting and prawns followed by the duck. The wine list is extensive and a price range to match. Service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Breitners. Reservations highly recommended as it is a small and intimate restaurant.
