Excellent hotel, first of all on arrival free courtesy bus from airport to hotel great and only 5 euros each back, deposit required at hotel 50euro. Night up to 150 euro but that was not a problem great for the last days spending money. The rooms where very modern and very clean, I was on the 15th floor so great views over the city and exceptionally fast and roomy lifts. The lighting in the room is a bit on the dark side but I noticed this a lot in pubs around the city, this might just be the way here, breakfast was very good especially the pancakes, the staff worked very hard as it is a very busy at breakfast time. Hotel about 15 mins from the central station on tram 13 which stops just round the corner for hotel and if you tell the tram staff you want off at the apollo hotel they will give you a shout at the stop, KFC just up the road and we had lunch in a Turkish restaurant near the hotel which nice and cheap, Great hotel and will definitely stay her again well if it stays as cheap! Also some people say the beds are too soft well they are perfect thick mattress with memory foam mattress toppers excellent nights sleep!

This hotel was just what we wanted as a group of 12 adult family members. It is out of town but has brilliant access by the number 13 tram right outside. The trams were frequent and very reliable making this an easy daily journey.
Reception staff were friendly and upgraded us on arrival, this was just the floor that changed, we had the same room as other party members but just on the 15th floor. The room was just what you need on a city break with a comfy bed & modern decor. The TV was great as it was android based & set up for your nationality. You must try using the rooster alarm clock, it is brilliant!
The wifi access is great, very easy to log on from the details given on your TV and high speed. You have to log in each 24hrs but with the same details.
The breakfast was good on the 17th floor which had great views of the city. There was a good variety as you would expect at a European breakfast, cold meats, pastries, cereal, nice coffee machines & a small amount of cooked breakfast (with a chicken sausage which was tasty).
We didn't eat here at any other time as we were out, but had some drinks in the bar which were on the pricey side. €10 for a cocktail meant we didn't have too many.
We used the hotel shuttle bus for our return to the airport which meant 2 trips for our group of 12 but this was only €5 each and a really efficient process, we only wish we'd arranged it to pick us up on arrival too.
Overall I would stay here again and thought it was good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher up room as the views are great

All in all, for the price, an excellent hotel with magnificent views of the City from the 17th floor restuarant and bar. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities very clean. Easy access to City centre from tram a few hundred yards from the hotel. Breakfast was very well organised and food very good.
The only downsides were the poor shower pressure in the rooms our group occupied, dim lighting in the rooms, lack of storage space, no ventilation in the bathrooms and the constant re-validating of the room keys.
On the whole a very pleasant stay but would ask reception staff the check how many passengers are in fact allowed on the Transfer bus - 12 of us were crowded into an 8 seater!!

Room Tip: All rooms were very quiet and clean as the hotel is very new.

We visited the new restaurant, on the 17th floor of the Ramada Apollo Hotel, if only to have a view of the city (360 degrees). But the restaurant was definitely worth a visit too!

We had the 7-course chef's menu (EUR 60) with wine pairing (EUR 27,50 for 7 glasses!). The courses were luckily not too large (but not small either) and gave a good sampling of the kitchen's qualities.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the food, the wines, the hotel and the restaurant. It was a pleasure to be their guest!
