What more can i say, located in a quiet spot near Jordaan, a short walk to dam square/royal palace, great rooms, fairly good size for amsterdam, well decorated and great soap (which my GF went running around trying to buy from somewhere)

Room service is delivered from elsewhere and is delicious! Bar downstairs had good guys and were good for a chat.

You can easily step out to a good cafe or maybe up the road to the d'arendsnest for some amazing dutch beers.

I stayed here cause Hotel Fita was doing some renovations and now its a hard choice between the two for when i go back!!

Room Tip: facing the canal!

I stayed at the Toren with my husband late last year to celebrate our wedding anniversary and first night away from our baby since moving to Amsterdam.
We had the most perfect time at the hotel and felt compelled to write my first review on trip advisor. The staff were amazing, so friendly and knew of our situation so wished us well on our anniversary, nice personal touches!
Then the room, wow, the decor is super luxe and the bath was divine! We could have stayed in there forever!
If you fancy a weekend or night away in pure luxury, then this is the place for you!

Beautiful small hotel with frendly yet unobtrusive staff. great location along side one of the canals within easy reach of the city by foot. The room was lovely with a jaquzzi, wonderful decor, well thought out lighting, with all compliments you can think of, nespresso machine made great coffee, in fact I've got to get myself one now. Breakfast was good with a very relaxed atmostphire.
I would recommend this hotel to any couple looking for a special weekend away.

Loved the Toren, we stayed for three nights in a room in the annex building, it was large, beautifully appointed and overlooked the canal. Bed was extremely comfortable. Fantastic location. Staff very helpful, particularly the bar staff. Breakfast good. A shame that they don't have their own restaurant . We did eat at Restaurant Christophe (which they have some kind of arrangement with) one night but wouldn't recommend it - it was empty and the service was slow and rather surly - but there are lots of places nearby.

Perfect in every way, decor weird when you 1st arrive but it grows on you.
Staff and service 15/10
Expensive but worth it!
The food was absolutely amazing, our room was incredible mood lighting and a jacuzzi in the middle of the room, weird but very cool.

Room Tip: Choose the suite, worth it out the back, the owner used to live in it.

The Toren is dark and sexy. The staff are extremely well trained and seem to love working there. From the moment we arrived we were impressed, the room was fantastic, the service was great. The location couldn't have been better, a street away from bars, restaurants and walking distance into the centre of town. We only had breakfast in the hotel twice and found it good but typically 'continental'.

Before we left we completed the survey left in our room and was very surprised to get an email from the owners asking for more details on our comments. We gave them more feedback, which was not really critisism as we had had an amazing time. We had email communicaton a couple of times and they then refunded us for our time and effort! We were so impressed and would definately go back!

Highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We opted to stay in a garden suite which we would recommend. Though we looked in on the rooms within...
