Central location for exploring Amsterdam by foot.
Dark, but tasteful and cosy decor - really original - we liked it!
Varied breakfast.
Free wifi, unusually fast.
In-room Nespresso machine - drink all you want. Good for coffee addicts like me.
Most of all: A staff that will go out of their way to help you.

Will definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with canal view!

We stayed for an anniversary so wanted something better than average; staff very friendly and helpful, room on the canal was excellent and the service good. We did not use them to book visits or restaurants, but it is clear that they do this very efficiently. Location is first class for any of the major sights, whilst the street is quiet for a city.

Room Tip: As a canal side hotel, only a few and the more expensive will have a canal view. Ask them or check o...

I spent 5 days at the Toren. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. The breakfast at the hotel is worth the $14 as the buffet has great food selections. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are within walking distance to all major attractions. I didn't use the trams at all during my stay as I was able to walk everywhere. The staff at the Toren are very friendly and very professional.

Five star experience from start to finish. This boutique hotel is central, but in a quiet neighborhood. All the staff were friendly, helpful and customer focused. The room, restaurant, and bar were historic and had excellent atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experience with the hotel from check-in to check-out. We stayed with 3 other couples for 3 days in this wonderful hotel. All the staff made us feel welcome and at home during our stay. I would highly recommend and stay at their establishment again, if given the chance to visit Amsterdam again!

We booked having read reviews and were not disappointed. The staff were extremely courteous, the room spotless and the jacuzzi a bonus along with the Rituals goodies, the dressing gowns and the slippers. The breakfast is extra at 14 euros but it is a feast and sets you up for the day. Recommend these restaurants in Herenstraat close by: 8 Seasons, Prego and the Spanish one whose name I forget but did a great paella. I left my Kindle torch behind but the staff have kindly found it and have posted it back to me. Would definitely go again.

I booked The Toren for my husbands 30th birthday & have never been to Amsterdam before, didn't know what to expect really but ... WOW what an amazing place! The hotel staff were so friendly & couldn't do enough, the room itself was the best we have ever stayed in! After long days walking around the city we loved to come back to the hotel bar & have a chill out with the lovely atmosphere & brilliant, warm service! Thanks all we had the best time & will definitely be coming again!
