we stayed for a night. This place is right in the center of the city, on one of the most inner circle of canals (SINGEL). We paid 100 EUR (without breakfast), and I fail to understand why people spend easily 2 or 3 times that amount to get something lesser, or in the best of cases, equivalent. The room is impeccable, cosy, clean, TV, wifi. There isnt a tea/coffee facility in the room, but you can get it for free from the main hall. The staff is very helpful.

Superb hotel, never made a review on trip advisor before but this hotel was a must as it is so beautiful. Never stayed in a hotel so clean with perfect attention to detail. Beautiful decor, especially for a romantic feel, the comfiest bed i have ever slept in!... and we only stayed in a classic room which was very spacious and perfectly equipped. The staff are very helpful and friendly, on valentines day and my partners birthday they brought treats to our room as a gift. Wonderful breakfast in the morning everything you could want. Would never stay in any other hotel if we returned to Amsterdam. The website photographs do not do it justice.

Great location. Helpful professional staff (they recommended great restaurants and took care of reservations). Good breakfast. Room was decorated beautifully. Overall rating says it all. Have recommended it to friends (who will be staying there in April) and will continue to.

We stayed for 3 nights during February and cannot fault the hotel in any way. The staff were polite and available without being intrusive leaving you to relax and enjoy your break. The decor works well, mixing the modern and traditional successfully to provide a warm and welcoming feel. The hotel is spotlessly clean and they have thought of most things with the complimentary coffee and tea very welcome and the cakes a little too tempting.
The location is excellent being located canal side just a short walk from Dam Square meaning you are within walking distance of all tourist areas but staying in a much prettier area. There are lovely walks on your doorstep round the canals and side streets which are crammed with nice independent shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and I think it is worth booking a canal view particularly if it is your first time in Amsterdam.
The bar and lounge areas are very comfortable and a large cocktail menu is available to relax with after a busy day sightseeing.

Room Tip: Canal view rooms have stunning views.

We stayed here for just 1 night and i would wish that I stayed here longer. The staff was friendly and very polite. The hotel was very clean and the view from our room was the best. I would suggest that you get a canal view to get a better experience of Amsterdam. The location was also good. We just walked from the central station station. It's like a 10-15 minute walk but it's not a boring walk since you will be passing through busy streets then once you reach the canal then you're already near the hotel. If you want to try the hop on hop off then there is also a stop at the back of the hotel. There are also many restos around the area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this excellent hotel. Beautifully decorated, courteous staff, good breakfast and a ideal location for getting to know the city. Round the corner from Dam Square, a short walk to a good selection of restaurants and not too far from the cultural delights of Museum Square.
Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Having travelled to Amsterdam for the first time to celebrate my friends birthday, this beautiful hotel was central for everything and an absolute delight and a joy to stay in. The young bartender that was on while we were there from the 5th was a star! The Estherea Hotel with its wonderful ambience, comfort, good food and welcoming, very caring and highly attentive staff make it an absolute must to visit. We loved our stay and wish we had stayed longer but hope to return again later in the year.
