I had a good stay in this hotel. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than usually so full points on breakfast (ok, more already sliced fresh fruit would be nice). Location was excellent and tram lines were really close. Moreover, central railway station was about 5min walk away. Service was good. This stay was business but I'd stay here for pleasure as well.

Positives:

The location was perfect, only a 2 minute walk to get to the centre/ top of the red light district and a 5 minute walk to get to Dam Square.

The hotel staff spoke good English and were helpful, the service was also prompt.

Room looked recently decorated/furnished, had a comfortable bed with some English channels on TV.

Negatives:

I was surprised at the size of the room when we arrived, it was smaller than expected and only just enough room for a medium size person to move around the bed.

Despite putting a do not disturb sign outside the maids knocked on our door every day and one morning even came in!

The facilities in the room were quite basic - hairdryer didn't really work, only tea or coffee with powdered milk.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, I would say this hotel is very overpriced for what it is (we paid £125 a night) but I think this will be the case across all of Amsterdam.

The location is fabulous, literally a 3 minute walk from the Central Station. The tramline stop is right there and the yellow bike rental is 3 doors away. The hotel accommodation is great, we were met extremely warmly by the reception staff and then upgraded to a business room! Given that most hotels in Amsterdam are small due to space constraints, this hotel has done a fabulous job to design the rooms in such a way that it is extremely spacious. It has all the bells and whistles of a 4.5 star hotel. Free Wi-Fi and it is fairly fast. My wife and hired bicycles on day 1, and toured the city all day - probably the best way to see Amsterdam. Do get lost as you get to see the lovely treasures Amsterdam has to offer. Day 2 we walked through the city and visited all the tourist hotspots - Dam Square, Waterloopien, New Market, Skinny Bridge & a couple of museums. Day 3 - took the train to Delft and Den Haag. Delft is a lovely quaint town with two stunning churches - the New Church & the Old Church (easy names!!).

We will definitely stay at the Inntel Amsterdam as and when we are back here again!!

Room Tip: The rooms are great, we got the business/executive room and it was fabulous & very spacious

This is my second stay and I will certainly be back. The hotel is conveniently walking distance from the main rail station on the edge of the red light district. Although not my favourite part of Amsterdam, the hotel itself is quite different to the tacky outlets nearby. Guests receive a warm and efficient welcome, my room has been spotless and very comfortable on both occasions and wifi is included in the price. Breakfast is good and service in the breakfast room and bar are unobtrusive. Overall very good value and I recommend it highly.

Room Tip: I've not specified a room on either visit and on both occasions have been very pleased indeed wi...

Stayed here for 4 days, hotel was really nice, extremely modern. Room was very comfortable, flat screen TV, mini fridge/bar, great shower/bathroom.

The hotel itself is set in a great location, right in the centre of the city, walkable distance to most of the sights in Amsterdam.

Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if and when I come back.

Room Tip: Floor 2 has the breakfast room on it, any higher than this you have to change lifts to get to it wit...

Probably the best hotel location ever. My bad experience was the cab driver dropped me off to far away. I told him, no, I'm not getting out until I can see the hotel. Then we see police officers come by and they assure the hotel is through that lane way. Then I trusted the taxi driver. Wrong again, I had 4 bags and finally after 45 mins found the hotel. Once inside it was nice. Staff speaks English very well.

Expensive but that's Amsterdam.

I would stay there again. Breakfast is nice too.

Room Tip: Always be charming.
