This hotel is absolutely ideal for a short visit. Clean and functional. We ate away from the hotel so no review for food but we would definitely stay here again. Beds are comfy, room was well set out and bar well stocked if you need it but there are two offy's across the road so we bought out for later in the evening as a last snifter. Really close to centraal station so we never even needed a cab. Give it a try.

Very good location (close to "everything" in Amsterdam). The rooms are clean, Wi-Fi was "reasonably" fast (with a short down-time during one of the nights I was there). The hotel's breakfast was great, and the one single thing bringing my review up från Average to Very Good.

Hotel is close enough to everything but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of this great city

Reception is great then the corridors are a bit unusual, rooms are fine for a city hotel. In room prices for food and drink take the Mickey but you kind of expect that

Staff were great and helpful

Overall the key to a hotel is would I return, yes I would

Overall the Inntel is an average hotel. It is not particularly fancy nor is it a dump. There aren't a lot of amenities but the hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable. My husband and I stayed here because the conference we were attending chose this hotel as one of the recommended hotels to stay and paid for my room since I was a speaker. I would not have otherwise chosen this hotel as a place to stay in Amsterdam.

I had notified the hotel of our early arrival and to our delight we were able to check in early.

We had ordered a SIM card to be delivered to us at the hotel. Even though my husband told the SIM card company that the hotel reservation was in my name, the hotel sent the SIM card back to the company when it arrived a day prior to our arrival, instead of just holding the card for us. Then the SIM card got lost in the netherworld between the hotel and the company, with each party pointing the finger back at the other for not getting the card to us. We blame the hotel for not holding it for us. We have been in Amsterdam for 3 days and still haven't been able to get this SIM card.

Worse, the hotel WiFi is terrible. It's unreliable, and the few times when it did work, it was slow. The hotel blamed an area-wide outage but we were able to see hotspots for other nearby hotels as we walked around the area.

Without a SIM card or reliable WiFi, we had no way to communicate with the outside world. We were here on a business trip for three nights, so this was especially devastating for us.

Moreover, our room had a pungent ammonia smell that left my husband searching the internet (while we were at the conference, since we had no internet access in the room) for information on whether ammonia smells are toxic and dangerous to one's health. That's when we realized we should leave the hotel and stay elsewhere.

So even though our room was paid for by the conference, we chose to leave the Inntel and stay at another hotel.

Aside from the technology and smell issues, aesthetically I found the hotel to be rather oddly decorated. Throughout the hotel there are black and white photos of people, larger than life-sized. These photos are neither artistic nor pleasing to look at Aesthetically they add nothing but energetically they are taxing. Every time the elevator door opened I was startled to see large figures in the elevator, only to realize again and again that these were static photos of really large people. In the hotel room, black and white photos of people hang over the beds, looming over and watching you. As a designer I am very aware of my surroundings and aesthetics and found the whole experience to be unnerving.

Regarding location, the hotel is in Amsterdam Center, close to the train station (about a 10 minute walk). It's easy to find and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, less than 10mins away from central station, lots of restaurants nearby and shopping street is just few steps away.
The hotel is actually in two building depending on what room you are at, you might have to change lift once to get to your floor but it's not a hassle.
Overall the hotel is very clean and secure, if you dun have a room card you cant activate the lift at main lobby. Wiifi is working fine, lounge are is very cozy, and staff are very helpful too.
The room is small as expected in amsterdam but the space are utilized very well. They also have a luggage room if your departure time is much later than check out time.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of my 2 weeks euro tour. Location couldn't have been better, only a short walking distance to Centraal Station and the touristic Dam Square. Eateries is everywhere and close to tram stop.

Room was comfortable, electric sockets by the bed would be useful. Bathroom was spacious with amenities provided. WiFi was free but breakfast was not included. The reception asked for 50 euros cash deposit just in case we consume the minibar or having breakfast during our stay, it was refunded upon check out. You can buy one day tram ticket at the reception. I would recommend this hotel.
